/ Why it exists
The V borrowed its language from World War II fighter nose art and somehow made it work on a basketball court.
The shark-tooth midsole graphic is the part everyone remembers, but the translucent outsole was the genuine risk. It yellows, it ages, it refuses to stay new.
Collectors have spent thirty years arguing about whether that is a flaw or the entire point.
